Our brief was to create a dynamic workspace that excels in flexibility and integrates advanced technology, all while retaining a strong and meaningful connection to its unique local character and cultural identity.

The Vision: Connectivity Rooted in Identity

The resulting environment is meticulously engineered to connect a distributed workforce across Indonesia, fostering seamless communication and collaboration regardless of physical distance. A core objective was ensuring that, despite being forward-looking and digitally enabled, the space remains profoundly rooted in its cultural context, offering a familiar sense of place and belonging.

Aesthetic and Materiality: Industrial Meets Artisan

The aesthetic adopts a modern, forward-looking industrial character, defined by clean lines and robust materials, symbolizing efficiency and technological advancement. This foundation is beautifully counterbalanced by the introduction of nuanced local touches, such as the strategic use of rattan, native woods, and traditional materials. This intentional layering softens the industrial edge, ensuring that the space conveys warmth and authenticity—a perfect realization of where regional tradition gracefully meets the future of work.
